The London Borough of Southwark commissioned Liftworks to install four new lifts in the location of three new builds in the borough.
The project consisted of installing two brand new lifts at the Tayo Situ House site. The building is a dementia housing scheme and involved Liftworks working to a specific specification to comply with the needs of the residents.
A complete new install in Piper Court was completed without delays. An MRL(Machine Room Less) was installed to maximise space in the new build with the latest control system and VF gearless machine.
A complete new install in Parish Apartments was also completed. An MRL was again chosen in the new build with a fully DDA compliant ten person lift with robust door equipment to meet Southwark Council specification.
All three lifts were installed under site conditions with Liftworks operatives working with various other contractors to complete the job.
